A french girl in Dublin

Hello there ! It's Cassandra. It's been 8 weeks now since I work in Lucy's lounge. Time flies. I remember the first day I came into the shop as if it was yesterday. I would like to say that I couldn't expect more than such a great work experience. Dublin is an amazing city and the people from Lucy's Lounge are all wonderful. That is why I want to give them a tribute in this post. Because they always care about people, and I think someone has to care about them.

Here is my place ! Tell my how amazing this place is.

Lucy's lounge has opened a new coffee shop upstairs. I'm glad I've participated to this adventure with them. It's homemade and vegetarian food, very colorful and friendly. A coffee shop is really hard business but it worth it, because the food is amazing, we can smell the fresh mint while entering. I really would like to have a coffee shop like that in France (why not starting ?) Come on and visit !

And delicious cakes ! This is one of my favorite thing here.

Rory the chef ! The best cooker in town. He is the king of wraps and pizzas. Thank you for everything you learned to me and for the amazing food you're doing everyday. You have to know this man !

Maeve the new waitress in the cafe. Girl power in Lucy's lounge

The dogs, Circus and Galaxie. Two rescue dogs that I love so much, they are so friendly. You can give them a hug mondays and fridays at lucys.

The dogs with Lili. Lili was here in May, she is from France as well and we've shared a month together at Lucy's. We were a great team and she was really hard working. See you soon friend !

Dandelion. A 60's specialist but before that, a fantastic woman. She teached me how to handle a vintage shop, and she inspired me with her amazing outfits. She used to wear a different one everyday, and sometime I looked forward to go to work just to see how she was dressed that day.We had really good fun and laughs, and I would like to thank her for everything she did for me. Stay as you are Dandelion.

Here is my Irish mentor, Lucy. I think I will always remember her. She is a part of people I'll never forget. I think this picture is really beautiful because it shows how she really is. Her outfits are also amazing and I wish I could have this talent and this taste of fashion. She teached me so many things and she really made me feel like home when I was at work. Lucy is a queen of style, her shop and her blog proves it. Thank you for everything.

I feel really sad to leave Dublin, and more, to leave all the Lucy's lounge family. We've shared so many things, and I think this experience made me growing up. I am so thankful for what happened this two last months. I will always remember all the people I've met and this shop. We used to say that life is all about people, so, my work experience is all about you.
