more is, more

You know that famous quote by,  Coco Chanel
Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and remove one accessory.
well I just don't get it!
before I leave the house I normally add at least 3 other  accessories.
So my outfit to today is
more is,  more.
I think I just feel sorry for all my bits and bobs left at home
so I bring as much of them as I can out to show themselves off to the world.

Me and Judy.

The headpiece was a menagerie of pieces
put in a pile and pinned together.

dress and dressing gown from Lucy's.
mine now.
both e25
the dress is derby
the dressing gown vintage no label.

 skirt from lucy' s
it didn't even get a chance to go on the rail.
I snatched it from the bag.
It fitted quite well even though I have being bingeing on e2 shop chocolate.
especially mint aeros
I am stopping from march 1.
however on a trip yesterday to purchase pens.
I noticed they had reduced them to e1.
not being able to refuse a bargain I bought 3.
I'll start tomorrow.

shoes a find at the flea.
way to small size 3 I'm a 5.
oh the pain.
but I deserve it after all that chocolate!

That Dorothy lifesize cutout is amazing!! I'm a little obsessed with the Wizard of Oz and I'd love to host her at home!
Your hat is great too and so the dress and the shoes, I really love everything with all my eyes and heart!!

Completely agree! Less is more is the dumbest saying I've ever heard, maximalism all the way!
You look amazing, I love those shoes and the head gear blows my mind! xxx

more is definitely more as far as fashion goes. I'd wear more accessories if I remembered too. and I should be more inspired by you and other bloggers to pile them on. I love the gown, really pretty. The tiny shoes are amazing, there's a Mikado sort of theme here that I really like... The Mikado with costumes by Nina Hagen! xx

I have never got the whole Coco Chanel thing and all the quotes dotted about on various personal style blogs, in fact a fair few of her quotes mark her out to be a bit of a daft bint’oid in my opinion, like “A women who doesn't wear perfume has no future”…Que?! Maybe I’m not enough of a fashionista to understand? Whist on the subject of perfume and in particular her perfume, I remember asking for a bottle of Chanel No 5 for my thirteenth birthday (cause I wanted to smell like Marilyn) and being totally gutted because it smelt like my maths teacher, a very beige lady that had a permanent look of disdain on her face. In my mind Miss Monroe should have “dressed” in a nicer scent whilst in bed.
I love your superb headdress and your outfit is gorgeously creative too, you look fabulous...xXx

I like the the quote Vix shared by Keith Richards too about, if its worth doing its worth overdoing, amen to that! The bottom of that skirt is a work of art and I'd cram my feet into those shoes too. Of course buying more chocolate couldn't be helped, there is always tomorrow :)

Love the bling and the dressing gown! I don't think I'm a more is more kinda peep, but I love it on others - whatever makes you feel like a rock star is what you should wear! Xo

I have been cookie bingeing too- and it is showing in my middle! I will start with you.

That skirt the details is amazing - I can see why it didn't make it into your rails.
