I'm so proud.

During summer we gave free sewing classes  for
teenagers interested in fashion.
Anja Maye was one of our students
she did a week course .
she dropped in yesterday with a collection of  pinafores she had made.
she asked us to sell them .
well you could have knocked me over with a feather.
how great is that.
She is 16.

This is anya

That headpiece is gorgeous, I've been wanting to make one for years but never seem to get around to it! Love your outfit and amazed by Anja Marie's talents, I'm not surprised you've already sold one of those funky pinafores. x

What a thrill. I try to encourage some young people in my village to participate in a fashion/sewing course, but we have not started yet.

Lucy, you're an inspiration. There's an element of performance and shamanism to your magpie outfit... maybe I'm reading too much into it (I did go to art college) - whatever it is, I love it. The head dress is brilliant. The coat and all the lace are fantastic. You were obviously an inspiration to Anja as she's gone away and made some fantastic clothes. I love Niamh's hair too. Your magpie's hoard is amazing. Keep being an inspiration!xxx
